Beavers are one of the largest rodents. An adult animal weighs from 45 to 60 pounds. The largest known animal was 86 lbs. In the wild these animals live from 10 to 20 years. They have an excellent hearing and sharp sense of smell. Animal breeders may be breeders of babies exclusively.
